Anne Heaven
Having worked on the client side for a number of years Anne provides expert policy led advice on research projects involving children, young people and health.
Anne has recently delivered projects for The Prince's Trust, the University of Leeds-based CAVA and Early Start and Sure Start programmes across England. Her findings on the benefits of peer research – using trained local people to conduct interviews – were presented to the 2007 LARIA (Local Authorities Research and Intelligence Association) Annual Conference. She has extensive experience of project management within the fields of health and social care and has considerable qualitative and quantitative expertise.
Her career includes spells as a Research Officer at Doncaster Central Primary Care Trust and as an independent consultant whose clients included The Public Health Research and Resource Centre (Salford), Stockport Health Authority, The Right to Warmth Campaign (Glasgow) and the Policy Studies Institute (London).
Anne began her research career at Lancaster University having completed a BA (Hons) in 1988 and an MPhil in 1990.
Anne enjoys picnics in the park with her son.
