Becky Gulc
During the past six years Becky has amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge of working with ‘hard-to-reach’ groups such as ethnic minorities, lone parents, fathers, disaffected and disadvantaged young people and non-learners.
Her work has given Early Years Departments and Sure Start / Children’s Centre programmes valuable insights into their local stakeholders.
Becky has also managed large-scale evaluation and research projects for The Prince's Trust, New Deal for Communities programmes and Learning and Skills Councils, as well as playing a central role in the delivery and management of Childcare Sufficiency Assessments.
She has an MA in Qualitative Research Methods, a BA (Hons) in Sociology and History, and is a member of the Ethnic Researchers Network.
Movie-lover Becky’s favourite holiday spot is Hollywood. She once bumped her head against Marilyn Monroe’s grave. These days Becky prefers to spend her free time wading across York Racecourse with Rooney, her hyperactive Labrador.
