Kathrin is one of the company’s tourism research specialists and has a broad range of clients in the tourism sector, from local authorities to tourist boards and various high profile tourist attractions.

Kathrin has excellent questionnaire design, interviewing, report writing, project management and focus group moderation skills. Her superb project management skills have been put to great use on projects for Marketing Manchester, Cumbria Tourism, York Tourism Bureau, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Jorvik, and the National Railway Museum.

She also took a leading role in the creation, management and production of the National Group Travel Report for 2006. This report was recently described by Group Travel Organiser as “the authoritative voice of group travel research.”

Prior to working for QA Research, Kathrin worked for a local authority in Berlin and for Profile Nottingham, a destination marketing organisation. Her tourism marketing experience proves to be particularly beneficial to adapt individual research projects to the specific needs of various clients.

She is a graduate of York University (BA in Sociology) and the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin (BA in Public Administration).

A keen photographer with her own dark room, Kathrin is a great admirer of the French photographer Henri Cartier Bresson.
