Nick has managed quantitative and qualitative research projects for a variety of national, regional and local government organisations over the last five years.

He has a particular expertise in the area of entrepreneurship, having undertaken numerous research and evaluation projects relating to enterprise policy. Nick has also project managed economic development, urban regeneration, workforce development and skills studies.
 
His recent work includes: research to inform Yorkshire Forward’s enterprise strategies; a report on the Business Support Review undertaken by Yorkshire Forward; and an evaluation of enterprise activity and a study of rural entrepreneurship on behalf of One NorthEast. Nick is now working on an evaluation of the EQUAL Common Ground Trans-national Partnership for Kirklees MDC, a study of ‘off shoring’ in the financial services sector for Manchester Business School, and numerous evaluations of business support programmes.
 
Nick has a BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Public Policy and is currently undertaking a part-time MPhil at the University of Sheffield.
 
Nick is recently married and plays tennis and football.
