Looking for evidence
Regional Development Agencies are increasingly being asked to demonstrate value for money, Gross Value Added, and how they intend to develop their services. Targeting the people most likely to be affected by RDA activity and asking the right questions will provide reliable evidence policy makers can use.
Assessing the impact of RDA activity
Qa worked in partnership with SQW to evaluate 25 Regional Development Agency programmes for: Advantage West Midlands, East Midlands Development Agency, London Development Agency and North West Development Agency.
The work was completed at our in-house telephone survey unit, giving us complete control over the research process.
In total, over 3,000 interviews were completed to assess the impact of RDA activity on a range of beneficiaries, including individuals, businesses and stakeholders.
Using the results
The results of the research will be used to inform the future development of RDA strategy and activity.
