Ramsay Health Care has been nominated for the LaingBuisson Healthcare Outcomes Award 2014 – helped in part by its use of the Qa Research patient satisfaction tracker.
The LaingBuisson awards go to healthcare providers that can demonstrate quality and innovation in health provision. The Outcomes category focuses specifically on the patient experience.
Our patient satisfaction tracking survey enabled Ramsay to better engage their customers and refine services to best meet their needs.
So it was a key feature in the company’s award application, which has seen it make the shortlist.
The survey was more significant for Ramsay as we helped to introduce an online methodology supplemented by telephone top up calls to ensure of a representative sample of patients.
By using digital methods to collect and analyse data and engage with customers, Ramsay is now able to respond more quickly and efficiently to any issues that patients identify with their treatment.
As a result Ramsay can make improvements in a shorter timescale than before and ultimately increase patient satisfaction – a key factor as to why the organisation has been shortlisted for the award.
The finals of the LaingBuisson Awards, hosted by BBC News At Ten presenter Huw Edwards (pictured), take place in October so we look forward to seeing the outcome.
