Qa presents ‘children and gangs’ research at Westminster

This hard-hitting study, produced in partnership with Children and Young People Now magazine, explores why young people are getting involved in gangs even younger, and how their activities are getting increasingly violent.

Drawing on qualitative research conducted in Glasgow, London and Manchester, the focus of the research is on understanding the roles of younger gang members, and what interventions can be effective.

The thought provoking and at times disturbing findings are designed to shed light on another ‘lost generation’ growing up in a world of territorial warfare.
