The East Midlands Chambers of Commerce and East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) have chosen Qa to conduct their e-adoption survey.
3,600 CATI (Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing) surveys will be conducted with a representative sample of SMEs across the East Midlands over the spring and summer.
The research will set out to investigate a number of key issues for local policymakers, including:
- take-up of ICT across the East Midlands
- barriers to e-adoption
- the impact of ICT usage on productivity
- how and why e-business is adopted by some firms but not others
The findings will inform business support services, helping regional partners raise awareness of ICT and improve business performance.
