Quality of life research informs new study

In November, Qa joined up with a health economics consulting company as part of a wider study into the value of a new drug.

York Health Economics Consortium decided Qa’s specialist skills would prove invaluable for a series of interviews with residents in Glasgow, Manchester, London and York.

We conducted 100 depth interviews of around 30-40 minutes in length with members of the public from all walks of life.

The findings will inform a broader study into the treatment of Phenylketonuria (PKU), an inherited disease which affects 100 cases per million live births in the Caucasian and Asian populations.
