Regional Visitor Survey success for Qa

For the second year in succession The Yorkshire Regional Visitor Survey has been awarded to Qa Research.

Lasting twelve months and involving 10,000 face-to-face interviews, this is another fantastic opportunity for Qa to assist Yorkshire Forward and Welcome to Yorkshire (formerly the Yorkshire Tourist Board) as they develop the distinctive Yorkshire ‘product’.

Evaluating the current experiences and satisfaction levels of visitors to Yorkshire, including why they visit the county, where they stay, and how much they spend, is still a key element of the research.

But now the project is entering a new phase. This year the findings from the 2009 – 2010 research will be compared those from 2008 – 2009 at regional and sub-regional level.

Findings and conclusions provided by Qa Research will further inform the development of the tourism industry in Yorkshire and assist tourism businesses across the region which are affected by the recession.
