Tourism Industry: have your say on the spending cuts

We’re conducting a national tourism business survey, in conjunction with the Tourism Network, to find out the views of the industry on the current public sector cuts.

Business engagement is going to be increasingly important to the survival and success of destination management organisations (DMOs) and tourist boards in England. The current changes in tourism and public sector cuts will affect tourism businesses of all shapes and sizes.

We thought that DMOs and tourist boards around the country would like to find out what the private sector really think and what they’d like from their local, regional and national organisations so we’re undertaking what we think will be one of the largest ever tourism industry surveys.

The online survey only takes 5 minutes to complete and can be found at:

The deadline for completion is 30th October.

We would like as many companies and organisations to get involved, so please forward the link to all your members, partners and industry contacts.

We’ll be circulating the results free of charge as soon after the deadline as possible – keep an eye on our website
