Fieldwork Administrator Vacancy
£20k per annum.
Qa Research is seeking a Fieldwork Administrator to assist our Fieldwork Manager in the setting up and day-to-day management of face-to-face quantitative research projects undertaken by our large team of nationwide interviewers.
Qa has a wide client base, with major clients in local government, utilities, travel & tourism, healthcare, charities and government departments, nationwide across the public and private sectors.
To ensure the successful delivery of projects you will support the Fieldwork Manager to ensure face-to face research projects are managed efficiently and cost effectively whilst adhering to our quality standards.
This will involve a variety of tasks including sourcing and booking field interviewers, assembling and posting out interviewer work packs, setting up Excel files to monitor project targets, dealing with queries from interviewers and regional supervisors and progress chasing interviewers during the fieldwork period.
You will also be involved in the quality checking & validating of completed interviews for quality standards purposes.
We are less concerned about your background experience however your personal qualities and aptitude are very important to us.
As long as you demonstrate a professional manner appropriate for an office environment, have a positive attitude, are a good communicator both verbal and in writing & are keen and quick to learn we are happy to fully train you.
You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, be able to juggle the demands of multiple projects whilst keeping a cool head, along with the confidence to deal over the phone in a friendly manner with fieldwork interviewers and supervisors who have a wide range of experience and are from a variety of backgrounds.
You will also have good IT skills – especially Word & Excel, be numerate, have an excellent eye for detail and feel comfortable working in a busy office environment often with tight deadlines.
You will also need to have a full driving licence.

We will provide training on telephone research interview techniques so previous experience of market research is not necessary.
We expect you to have a professional telephone manner, excellent communication and listening skills, good keyboard skills and to pay attention to detail.
