Sam Shaw
Research Executive
Sam joined Qa as a Research Executive in September 2023 to pursue a career in social research. His passion stems from the potential to speak to, and represent the perspectives of, difficult-to-reach and disempowered groups and support actionable change.
Sam has a BA (Hons) in History from the University of York, and an MA in Modern History from the University of York. He has a wealth of experience conducting independent, critically informed research. His interest in social issues arose whilst writing for a student political journal.
Sam has a background working with young people. He volunteered as a leader for a young people’s group and has completed training to provide pastoral support.
